Looking to customize the look of Project Panorama? There are a few easy methods of doing so.
Use the Built In Customizer
Navigate to “Projects” and then “Settings” in the WordPress admin. Scroll down and you’ll see several color pickers allowing you to change the color scheme to match your brand. You can also upload your logo to brand all of your projects.
Use Custom CSS
If you’re familiar with CSS you can navigate to “Projects” and then “Settings” in the WordPress admin. You can then scroll down to the bottom of the settings page and put custom CSS into the custom styling box. This will inject your styling onto the Project Panorama stylesheet, allowing you to customize the look even further.
Use Your Themes Templates
We do have an unsupported beta feature that allows you to use an existing theme template for Panorama projects. Because there are tens of thousands of themes you might need some custom CSS to optimize the display.
You can use your theme template by navigating in the WordPress admin to Projects > Settings and then clicking on the appearance tab.
There is an option called “Use Custom Template” that when selected will allow you to pick a page template from your theme. We highly recommend using a full width template to ensure the Panorama layout displays nicely.
Create Your Own Custom Template
If you’re comfortable working with HTML, CSS and JS you can customize the project template completely. Simply copy the single.php file from /wp-content/plugins/project-panorama/lib/templates/single.php into a “panorama” directory in your theme folder, i.e. /wp-content/themes/yourthemefolder/panorama/single.php. You can then edit and customize the template file as much as you’d like. Panorama will load YOUR single.php file instead of the default one, preserving updates into the future.
